TPicshow v.3 installation

Hello,

i can't install the TPicshow 3.0 Component in my Delphi 4.0 Std. edition within a new package because of the following error message:

"Package 'mypackage' can not be loaded. it contains unit 'jpeg' that is also included in package 'vcljpg40'.

May anybody help me dealing with this fact ?

You should add 'vcljpg40' to Requires section of your package.

Hi,

thanks for the advice, but now the system complains about
"cannot find file SyncObjs.dcu".

I've searched the whole harddisk, I've got neither a SyncObjs.dcu nor a
SyncObjs.pas file on the computer.

Could you please help again or do you know another way how to
install your great component ?

hi,

I've found the answer for the "SyncObjs" problem: Delphi 4 Standard Edition does not contain such a unit.

So if there's no other possibility to install v 3.0 then I think I'll have to use v 2.4 again which is also great.

Hi,

The new release of PicShow doesn't need SyncObjcs unit. It is there just because of a mistake, and you can simply remove it from the uses clause.
