I need a good starting point for my project. I want to create a (musical note) notation editor.
Briefly,
Visually writeable notes(la, si, do...) five horizontal lines (and four spaces between them)...and other musical elements or staff.
and to listen them by following notes on screen...save, load...
I think MIDI is suitable (in MMSystem unit) for listenening and saving the data and may be ownerdraw for gui. (not sure just guess)
please help, any idea, advice, sample to examine, website, book, component...
