You mean, you want us to prepare test questions for new users to prove they are wothy joining? great idea! just... what kind of things should it be? i have thousands upon thousands of questions, every one of them is propably too hard for absolute beginer to answer, what wonders me, it is possible that even expert on one thing may find it hard to answer to other's simple questiion

As an example, the question can be: What's extension of unit files in Delphi?

I guess every Delphi and BCB user knows the answer, right?

In less than 24 hours, the new spam filter has rejected 24 tries.

Great. Now how that works and how many questions do you got?

Here are the questions, that user will see one of them randomly:

• What is the assignment operator in Delphi?


• Which Delphi operator computes remainder of an integer division?


• What is the file extension of Delphi units?


• In Delphi, which data type can be used to store 3.14 without loosing its precision?


• What is the ancestor language of Delphi?

It's funny to know that most of the spammers do not answer the question. And, those that answer, they enter some parts of the question.

By now, 47 tries is blocked. Or in other words, this system has blocked all the spammers so far.

Hmm... Ancestor of delphi? that seems to be hard, but is answer one word or two? if one word then it's simple.

Thre are couple more questions that can be asked, like:

• What's the standard name for new Form?
• Traditionally, that letter comes before name of class in delphi? Mr. T would know...
• If Visual Components Library is called VCL than what's called Run-Time Library?
• What property of delphi visual components control their visibility?
