StatusBar Pro

I have StatusBar Pro installed in Delphi 5 Ent and it works great. Now I purchased Delphi 2006 and I can't figure out how to install the component. Can anyone help, I'd hate to go back to the plain old TStatusBar. Thanks.

Try to replace DELPHIAREA.INC with the attached file.

I first start a new package and include the following files:
the new DelphiArea.Inc
SBPro.pas
SBProReg.pas

When I try to compile it, I get

[Pascal Fatal Error] SBProReg.pas(29): F1026 File not found:'DesignIntf.dcu'

Hello Mr Kambiz,

I have been using this excellent component in D7, which I installed in a second. Now I have ugraded to Delphi 2010, but things are not so simple. ( I think ) I have followed your instructions closely:
1. download new DELPHIAREA.INC
2. Add path where component files are found to Tools->Options->Delphi Options->Library-Win32->Library Path
3. Check files DesignIntf.dcu, DesignEditors.dcu and DsgnIntf.dcu are in the Library Path
4. In Delphi IDE, click New->Package->Add-> SbPro.pas, SBProReg.pas; Requires->DesignIde.dcp
5. Right click "Install", result:

[DCC Error] DsgnIntf.pas(182): E2003 Undeclared identifier: 'IFormDesigner'

I am using Windows 10 Pro; I have CnPack Ver: 1.1.1.849 Build 2016.08.15 and AlphaComponents ver. 11.15 installed. As I said, in my old Windows XP, Delphi 7 with CnPack and AlphaComponents installed, StatusBarPro is present in all my apps and works flawlessly.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Is DELPHIAREA.INC in your search path?

I attached the DELPHIAREA.INC file, which works for me on Delphi 2010.
