Graph limits and error with linkinsert

Postby HPW » March 16th, 2006, 10:28 am

Hello Kambiz,

I get a error-report of an user of my plugin about a floating point error with the 'InsertLink'. I have reproduced it with the plugin and with the sgdemo.exe.

The user tried to reach the limit in SimpleGraph by moving downwards with the link-tool. When I do this very much it start throwing 'Invalid floating point operation'. I can draw the smallest possible node (Height 16) and push it downwards to maximum 65519 with no problem. There it stops.
When I want to link from a node at the top to that node at the max bottom I get the error during moving downwards. It happens in last part of the distance.

Bug?
