Because it is independent of BufferLength and depends to sample rate, it could be your sound device/driver that causes this problem.

Hello Kambiz,

yes, seems to be a hardware problem. With a different sound card it's gone, also at lower sample rate.

Another question:
How would I generate a sinewave output with minimum cpu load?
Is there a loop mode available to keep playing continuously the same buffer? Or are there even more efficient ways using only soundcard hardware e.g. with Midi (which I actually know only the Nname of!)?

You can repeat a buffer using TLiveAudioPlayer. Please see the readme file for details.
