WaveAudio and Microphone

I have just tried the WaveAudio package and have compiled the demo SoundRecorder. It works great except for recording from the microphone. The microphone is plugged into the sound card and you can hear it's sound in the speakers. I am using WinXP Pro SP2 and Delphi 6. I left all the defaults in the Demo Program.

Any Ideas?

Is the problem hearing the microphone sound? If yes, mute the microphone playback in Windows Audio Properties. You can use AudioMixer component to do this in your application.

Sorry for the confusion. I am actually trying to record from the microphone and I can't get WaveAudio to do so. I know the microphone is working because I can hear it through the computer's speakers, and WaveAudio seems to capture all other sound I play on the computer. I am using the SndRcrdr.exe demo program sent w/ the product.
