Marquee: Possible to eliminate or reduce GAP?

Postby TValley » June 23rd, 2010, 9:38 am

Is it possible to eliminate or reduce the gap between Marquees?

In other words: If I have, say, four items in the collection, they all scroll nicely, but there's always a LONG gap after the last item (4) before the first item (1) begins again, leaving the Marquee line BLANK during that period.

It would be better if the gap was ALWAYS the same as the SPACING, even between last and first items.

Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

Please see the update.
The new LoopSpacing property specifics the gap between two loops.

Kambiz,

EXCELLENT!!! LoopSpacing is exactly what I needed!

However, you may want to update the Demo's Main.pas, since "wrapspacing" throws an exception.

THANK YOU!!!

Actually, the problem is in the form Main.dfm, not in Main.pas.

Suggestion: Save your forms as text (right-click on Form, choose "Text DFM"). Would have made this problem much easier to fix at my end.

Thanks again,

Thanks, the demo is updated now.

In the last minute I renamed WrapSpacing to LoopSpacing and I forgot to fix the demo.

Sorry for this inconvenience.
