NET

Hello,

I have been reading about NET off and on in the Borland Newsgroups but I do not understand what actually is NET? I guess I am a little hard headed but nowhere have I found a good explanation.

a) An operating system
b) A programming language

Can net and WindowsXP be run on same pc?
What kind of a computer is needed to run net?
Where do you get NET?
Is it expensive?

Regards

Bill

.Net apps run on windows 98+, .Net SDK requires win XP+
It is Free.
It is the future of software development in windows.
It will replace Win32 and other windows technologies.
It will be the core of the next version of windows.

And here it is. Come and get it ! :)
