Looking for Delphi programmer for audio application

Hi there! N00b here.

I want to develop a small audio application for Win32. I'd like to use Delphi 7 Personal because the price is right and I used to be a Delphi developer (W95 days.)

Delphi 7 Personal has no recording/playback components. There seem to be numerous components available, not in the least the components right here at Delphiarea.com, but I get stuck every time at just installing them & trying out the demos.
