beginner: working with array of image

hi
i want to create a bitbutton and when the user click the button they can put same pic (with one on the bitbtn) on the paint box.the user can also add line from ane pic to another on the paint box. I also want to make simple animation a small rectangle move prom one pic to another through the line.
Anobody pls help me how to do that or where can i find some example?
