how to kill a xppopupmenu without an event

hi,
i am open a TftXPpopupmenu1 at onmouseover event . it is appearing perfectly but i want to kill it after some time automatically.

SetForegroundWindow(Handle);
TtfXPpopupmenu1.Popup(100, 100);

Well, I don't know what is TftXPpopupmenu. But I'm interested to know how to hide a popup menu. I looked for a solution but I couldn't find. :-s

tftxppopupmenu is a pop up menu ,
when i click on a button a pop up menu is appearing .this pop up menu should be close after 2 sec or 5 second without click any where.

I search for ever place how to do this i try ever tips, but nothing work like i need so i have a idea

I Create a Modal Form with a timer 10ms,i place it in cordanate out off scrren for the form dont be visible.
so when the form is been active any open pop hide instantly!
